Advanced Surveillance Techniques
This training program encompasses practical surveillance exercises in realistic scenarios that emulate the complexities of criminal organizations where surveillance is essential. Students will be challenged to maintain their covert roles while tracking suspects. This course includes vehicle tracker installation, mobile surveillance on foot and by vehicle for both day and night operations, electronic surveillance, safety operational planning, and surveillance responsibilities.

Advanced Undercover Operations
This course covers the psychological aspects of undercover work and the techniques essential for becoming a successful undercover detective. Real-life scenarios will be integrated throughout the program to instill confidence in day-to-day investigations. Understanding the importance of undercover backstops, the use of props and equipment, and undercover defensive tactics, students will experience realistic scenarios in diverse environments and learn in a comprehensive environment.

Women's Tactical Training
This week-long training program is designed to equip our law enforcement sisters with advanced skills in various tactical fields. Included in this course is updated defensive tactics techniques, tactical firearm training, and home/building entry and search procedures. Certified instructors in firearms, defensive tactics, and S.W.A.T. operations will lead the training sessions.

Advanced Narcotics/Human Trafficking Investigation
This training provides essential knowledge for conducting successful narcotics investigations. Students will learn proper confidential informant management, drug recognition, probable cause for search warrants, various types of drug purchases and their purposes, operational planning, the importance of deconfliction, undercover buys, surveillance, vehicle takedowns, legal updates on narcotics, and the connection between narcotics and human trafficking. Practical scenarios will be conducted on each topic to enhance students' understanding and application of these critical tools.

Vehicle Takedown Training
This course focuses on the rules, fundamentals, and principles of conducting vehicle takedowns with an emphasis on the importance of safety and communication during these operations. Scenario-based training will be included, enabling students to apply their acquired knowledge in practice, thereby instilling the confidence necessary for their daily duties.
De-Escalation Training
This training equips officers with the tools necessary to identify and apply appropriate de-escalation methods for various situations. Students will gain practice implementing these techniques while prioritizing the paramount importance of officer safety. Through realistic scenarios, this program reinforces the skills acquired, ensuring that officers are well-prepared and confident in integrating these strategies into their daily duties.

Supervisor Operational Planning Training
In this course, current and aspiring supervisors in CID, Narcotics, and Tactical units will be taught the advanced skills in investigation management from a leadership perspective. Students will learn tactics employed in narcotics buys, surveillance operations, and vehicle takedowns, emphasizing their strategic rationale. Through scenario-based exercises, participants will apply learned tools to real-life situations, highlighting the critical role of communication and maintaining tactical superiority in achieving mission success and ensuring team safety.
Homicide/Cold-Case Seminar
TactiCop’s two-day Homicide and Cold Case Training offers participants an in-depth exploration of various case studies in homicide and cold case investigations, highlighting successful resolutions achieved through a blend of traditional investigative methods and cutting-edge scientific techniques. Topics covered include considerations for cognitive interviews, criteria for evaluating cold cases, and advancements in technology. Case studies encompass investigations into serial killers, child homicides, domestic murders, and officer-involved shootings. Techniques such as forensic genetic genealogy, witness re-interviews, CODIS and latent fingerprint identifications, unidentified human remains investigations, and murder convictions resulting from overdose deaths will be examined. By the end of the training, participants will acquire invaluable tools to effectively manage and advance in handling complex and diverse investigations.
